How to Create a Google Calendar with Appointment Slots
I found an editor that allows me to take out mistakes easily and erase annoying background noises. I'll figure it out and try to do that on future videos. This is better than nothing, I suppose. Let me know if you have questions; I'm happy to help you.

Word Clouds
are a fun way to engage students. They can use them for all kinds of things.
www.wordle.net is a great one, but you can't save them. You can print them, though.
This one is from www.tagxedo.com
This one has a shape feature that allows you to manipulate the words into a shape that reflects your subject matter. For this one, I simply put the url for my techspot blog into the word load; it grabbed every word from my blog. You can set it to take out words like "and". Tagxedo also allows you to buy items with your cloud printed them.

1993 Commercial
We couldn't imagine these things would be available or easy when we saw these commercials; now these things are common and even behind. We are preparing our students to be successful and lead in positions and jobs that don't exist yet using technology that hasn't been considered. It's important for us to expose them to what is available now, explore with them, and allow them to learn, create, and flourish in a classroom that invites growth, risk taking, and problem solving. We do this by embracing what we know will engage them and teach them to be innovative thinkers and active learners.
